Project Date: 2011
I had worked with Facebook before on internal applications, so when they needed a UI/UX person for their public-facing law enforcement agent portal, they asked me. Until this project, agents, both local and internationally, had no easy way of tracking requests for screen captures or data takedown, opening new ones, and managing proper legal documents for each request.
The focus was on automating much of the request process and delivering fast, comprehensible feedback on updates and new cases. A simplified dashboard and horizontal layout maximized information density while collapsible accordions kept the user from feeling overwhelmed.
